This one was a large removal at North Rocks, with the tree standing right in the middle of a well-kept garden. The owners cared about the garden as much as the tree coming out, so the job was planned around protecting the beds.
How we did it
Instead of climbing the tree and dropping branches into the plants, the crew set a tracked spider lift up on the lawn, clear of the garden beds. From the basket the arborist worked down through the canopy, taking the tree apart in sections and keeping everything clear of the plants below.
The result
Compare the before and after photos, taken from the same spot: the tree is gone and the garden beds around it are intact.
